
Ingredients:
1/2 jar of 825 MAIN Pizza Margherita Sauce
20oz packages of store bought pizza dough
1 cups of grated dry whole milk mozzarella cheese
4 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmagiano Reggiano cheese
Fresh basil leaves
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2 . Drizzle EVOO on a 12 inch cast iron pan.
3. Take the pizza dough and lay it into the pan with the EVOO and then flip it over coating the other side of the dough.
4. Stretch the dough with your hands to fill the pan .
5. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella on the flattened pizza dough. The mozzarella cheese keep the sauce from soaking into the dough.
6. Sprinkle 1/8 cup of the grated parmagiano reggiano over the dough.
6. Using a tablespoon dollop the 825 MAIN Pizza Margherita Sauce around the dough,. It’s about 9 tablespoons spread out evenly ( 6 around the edges and 3 in the middle of the dough)
7. Sprinkle the rest of the shredded dry mozzarella and the rest of the parmagiano reggiano over the prepared dough.
8. Place 4 slices of fresh mozzarella evenly over the prepared dough. And then scatter basil leaves over the dough.
9. Place the cast iron pan in the 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
